Update to whiplash beta

After announcing the first usable beta i ran into several really nasty bugs and problems…Got most resolved now. The biggest beeing a bug that caused nasty Access Violations and general slowness when doing operations on more then 3 rendernodes (no, dont ask why, but i got rid of it :) )

Anyways…looking a lot brighter now, tho there’s quite some stuff on the to-do list

First usable beta of whiplash…

Hi folks,
the first usable beta of whiplash is done:

features:

- Quickly switch from DR to BB server for multiple slaves
- Quickly kill or restart VraySpawner or BB-Server
- Check current Status of slaves.

Current Efforts

Currently most of my rare devtime is spend on experiments with dotNet in Max R9. There will be some pics soon. Biggest project is a dotNet wrapper that i am currently trying to do. It’s causing problems and problems and frustration and a shitload of fun and smiling as soon as a tidbit works :)

gdm_slavedriver first steps

Here you can see the first steps towards a complete renderslave management and monitoring solution.

It is entirely based on WMI calls and hence doesnt need any specific client to be running on the renderslaves.
